At Bracken Ghyll Golf Club we have a number of systems available to members that allow you to manage you membership and golf.
As part of an extensive review we are now in the process of migrating to a single platform.
This change will see us change from using the BRS application and site for tee booking and move to the V1 Members Hub.
Key dates as it stands (22nd February)
• WC 17th March – V1 migrations commences including till system upgrade and booking systems
• Thursday 20th March 3pm – BRS booking will be offline.
• Friday 21st March lunchtime – V1 becomes live for tee booking (we will communicate in due course the process for making bookings and amending bookings from 3pm Thursday – lunchtime Friday)
Please read the information below as the planned migration will require ALL members to use the V1 Members Hub Application, How Did I Do Application or websites. Information and a user guide for the V1 Members Application can be found at the bottom of this page. This includes details of how to register for the application. Over the coming year Club Systems are planning to bring HDID and V1 Members Hub into a single application 😊
As a reminder, the migration to V1 will result in the retirement of the use of BRS for casual, competition and Opens booking at Bracken Ghyll.
The planned date for the migration is week commencing the 17th March. During this week we will see the tills at the club upgraded. These upgrades bring our till software up to date and will allow greater reporting and access for your admin team. It will also see the payment terminals linked to the tills which will speed up transactions at the till for card top ups and direct card payments.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to update you on the progress of the retirement of BRS for tee booking and transition to V1. At this stage the plan is to migrate to V1 for tee booking from lunchtime Friday 21st March. The BRS booking will be unavailable from around 3pm on Thursday 20th March. As part of the migration the BRS bookings will be migrated to V1. As you will understand this is quite a complex process hence the need to take bookings offline for a short period.
We are currently investigating the option of running a “trial” booking period via V1 prior to the full migration. Should this be possible we will communicate this via PL / email and the webpage above.
